Training portal and Meta connection terms

Last updated: 28 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply when a Hedgehog Marketing training client chooses to connect their own Meta (Facebook) ad account to our training portal. They are provided by Hedgehog Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 44 616 230 516), trading as Hedgehog Agency ("we", "us"), of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

These terms are in addition to the Hedgehog Training Program Terms you have already accepted. If the two differ about connecting your Meta ad account, these terms apply to that connection.

Connecting your Meta ad account

Connecting is optional. You connect by signing in with your own Facebook login and choosing which ad account to share with us. We only access the ad account you choose. By connecting, you confirm that you are allowed to connect that ad account on behalf of your business.

What we read

With your connection, we read your ad account's performance data, such as campaigns, ad sets, ads, spend, impressions, clicks and conversions, so we can show you your own results. We also read the names and IDs of the Facebook Pages you can use with that ad account, so you can choose the Page for a draft ad.

What an AI assistant can create

Only if you approve it, your AI assistant can create draft campaigns in your ad account. Anything created is always set to paused. You switch ads on yourself in Ads Manager. We do not change your budgets or turn ads on or off.

No guarantee of results

We do not promise any particular result from your ads or from anything shown in the portal. Your results depend on many things outside our control, including your offer, your budget and how Meta runs its advertising platform.

Disconnecting and deleting your data

You can disconnect at any time. You can do this from the training portal, or from Facebook (Settings, Business Integrations, find "Claude MCP" and select Remove).

Disconnecting from the portal deletes your stored access token straight away. Removing the app in Facebook cuts off our access straight away, and you then email [email protected] so we can delete the data we stored. We confirm by reply once it is done. We do not keep copies of your ad account data: results are shown to you in your Claude conversation and are not saved by us. We keep a log of changes made through the connector: the time, the ad account, what was created or changed, and its ID. We keep it for 12 months, and delete it sooner if you ask us to.

Deleting your data does not change anything in your Meta ad account. Step by step instructions are on our Delete your Meta data page.

Your privacy

How we collect, use and protect personal information, including data from your Meta connection, is set out in our privacy policy.

Your responsibilities

You review each draft before you switch it on. You are responsible for your Meta ad account, your ad spend, and following Meta's terms and advertising policies.

Limits of liability

The limits on liability in the Training Program Terms apply to the Meta connection. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, and we will email connected clients about changes that matter.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
